To Whom It May Concern:
I was referred to Courtney Builders by a friend of mine who raved about the quality of work Rod performed. Since I had never
experienced building a home before, it was very refreshing to deal with Rod and Lisa throughout the building process. I had
so many questions which were answered to my satisfaction and if Rod did not know the answer off hand, he responded quickly
when he obtained the answer.
The best
part about Rod is that the buck stops with him, I have heard numerous horror stories of shady salesmen who work for some of
the larger builders; to say that my friends who used the larger builders received broken promises would be an understatement.
Rod was
so interested in ensuring that my home was of the highest build quality that I personally observed him tear out a section
of my master bathroom only to have it re-done correctly.
There were
no surprises and if nothing else I can truly call him an honest contractor; this is huge...trust me. If you call Courtney
Builders, Rod or his wife answers the phone...and they actually answer it. Tell me one Custom Builder who does this, I called
him four or five times a day some weeks and he answered.
I was not
interested in a cheaply built home and Rod was not interested in building one. I could have saved some money using a big builder,
but since this is my single largest investment, I wanted it done right the first time. To this day friends and visitors see
my home and comment on the quality.
I suppose
the greatest compliment and faith in ability I could ever give Rod would be to recommend his talents to friends, which is
exactly what I did. Rod built a home for a friend of mine right after he built mine. To this day my friend thanks me.
In closing,
I would not hesitate for one second to refer Courtney Builders to anyone who is interested in building a quality home. To
this day I keep in touch with him and he still provides the greatest of customer service years after my home was complete.

Dear Rod,
Thank you so much for building
us such a beautiful home. We couldn’t be happier. We definitely made the right choice choosing a builder who only builds one or two homes a year, rather
than one of the bigger builders that build many homes a year. The personal interaction
with you while building made this a very pleasant experience for us.
Your attention to detail has made
our home a “cut above the rest.” After speaking with other homeowners
in our neighborhood, and hearing their horror stories and frustrations with their builders, we realize how lucky we were to
have chosen a builder who is so thorough, dedicated and, as your subcontractors described you, “anal.” What a joy to work with you!
We really appreciated the
frequent updates on the progress during the build. We thought it would be difficult
to have a home built while living over 1000 miles away, but you always kept us aware of what was happening, and that reinforced
our confidence in you.
After many months of almost daily
phone calls from you, we feel that you are part of our family. You and Lisa have
been a godsend to us. Always on top of things, and when a problem would arise,
you would provide us with more than one solution.
When I saw the look on your face
when the furniture delivery men were carrying in the furniture up the hardwood stairs, I could see that when you build a house,
it isn’t just a house to you, but a part of you. I saw the fear on your
face that the stairs would be scratched or dented. Most builders couldn’t
have cared less because they made their money and were on to the next job.
Thanks again for doing such a
wonderful job. We just love our home, and if we ever build another home, you
will be the one building it for us.
